SUMMER SCHOOL BUS SCHEDULE 2025

Summer school credit recovery and enrichment registrations are live!!!

Dear Parent/Guardian:

Fernley High School will be sponsoring a Credit Recovery/Enrichment Program, scheduled for students who have failed at least one course in Math, English, Social Studies, Science or Health. In addition to credit recovery courses, Fernley High School will also offer a variety of Enrichment classes.

Note: Enrichment classes do NOT earn credit.

Bus transportation will be provided to and from campus. Students exceeding two absences will be withdrawn from the program and course credit will not be awarded. All extenuating circumstances must be approved by administration prior to being absent.  Students enrolled in credit recovery classes must come to school with charged chromebooks and their chargers. There are no loaner devices and they will not be able to complete their work without them. Students who do not complete coursework by July 11, 2025 will not receive credit for the course and all progress will be deleted. Registration forms must be completed and returned to the Fernley High School main office by Monday June 16, 2025.  There is no cost for summer school this year. Lunch will be available to students. Students will sign up for one or both sessions depending on their credit recovery or enrichment goals. Summer school will be from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. All students need to be registered for two classes per session, for each session they plan to attend. Classes will not be held on June 19th and July 4th due to the federal holidays.

Session 1: June 16th - 27th

Session 2: June 30th - July 11th

Students' will be notified by Fernley High School via their school email. Regular communication with the summer school teachers is both encouraged and appreciated. If you have any questions about the FHS Summer School Program, please call the FHS main office at 775-575-3400.
