Public Health 101

Public Health 101 - Mrs. Kuntz

The Public Health course introduces students to how health impacts communities at the local, national, and global levels. Students explore topics such as disease prevention, health equity, and community wellness while developing real-world problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

Through coursework and applied learning experiences, students gain insight into how public health professionals work to improve community health outcomes. Students who successfully complete the course requirements and required field hours have the opportunity to earn certification as a Community Health Worker (CHW).
